Summer Bishil (born June 15 15, 1985) is an American actor best known for playing Margo on The Magicians, a Syfy drama series based on a fantasy that ran between 2015 and present. Her prior role as Lebanese American teenage girl Jasira, who goes through an array of struggles in the context of U.S. conflict in Iraq was part of Alan Ball's feature film Towelhead. She was chosen by Variety to be one of their 10 actors they wanted to see. She portrayed another character of great power Taslima Jahangir in the 2009 crime drama film Crossing Over for which she received nominations for the Independent Spirit Award in the Best Female Leading Actress category. Her other film roles include the films Moozlum The Last Airbender Pop Star, Under the Silver Lake and a number of guest appearances on television.
